This traditional 17th century coaching inn nestles near the beautiful River Eden in the ancient town of Appleby in Westmorland. The Royal Oak is ideal for a one night stop over as you explore the Pennine Way, Settle-Carlisle railway or Lake District. It is also a perfect base for a family holiday or venue for a business seminar. As well as en suite guestrooms, there is a charming 2 bedroom stone cottage for those who prefer to self-cater and run to their own holiday schedule.
